You are going to have to face calamity, catastrophe, disaster, affliction, hardships, trails, tribulations, distress, misery, suffering, unhappiness, disappointments, crushed dreams, all through out your life. None of us shall escape the pain of the climb. It is how you handle the pain of the climb and the doom of the darkness that makes you a jewel of a man, a diamond in the rough, that shines in the hand of the master, or a piece of coal not ready for the masters good pleasure yet.
Most Christians fold under the pressure and turn to the addictions of the past instead of turning to the God of their future. Something happens when you cry out to Jesus in the middle of the pain and despair, as you lose your grip on life, when those tears begin to fall to the ground it brings sacred water, something unseen by the human eye and intellect of man, finding its way to the spiritual unseen.
Psa 126:5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
Psa 126:6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning!
The adversity of this life is nothing compared to the joy that is coming for those that love him. We must all lay down, back into the dust from which we came from at the beginning.
Co 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
Do you get it? Do you understand who you are? If you have been born again of the water and of the spirit you are immortal, you will live forever, some day you will change your earth suit for the new heavenly you. Knowing this promise is true, you can face any adversity. It will be worth it all in the end, and when your end is come it will be the start of a new beginning, forever with the master of the universe, the redeemer of us all. The great high priest, the alpha and omega, the great I am is on your side!
Even in the middle of your greatest storm of life he is with you, and he loves you. Yes, adversity causes some men to break, but it causes some others to break free, and set new records accomplishing things that’s never been done before taking heavenly gold. Never give up. Never give up. Never give up, in the face of adversity for he is with you in the climb.
