Man And Machine, Or Man And God? GodfreyDaily

By Godfrey

We are moving toward man and machine or man and God, and eventually we will have to choose one or the other.

“Technology takes a huge leap in 75 years. Microchip can be installed directly in the user’s brain. Apple, along with a handful of companies, makes these chips. Thoughts connect instantly when people dial to “call” each other.” CNN

It’s only a matter of time until many have embedded microchips into the human mind becoming walking, talking, human cyborgs with a world of artificial intelligence streaming through the human mind, but at a high price. Of course I am talking about the desire of many to become something other than God created them to be. I am talking about transhumanism. We are moving towards artificial neurons that put off electrical signals that allow us to interface wirelessly with brain computer networking to be established in our life times.

Going all the way back to the year 1999 a man named Kurzweil predicted in a book he wrote “The Age of Spiritual Machines,” told us of the arrival of You Tube and other video on demand services like Netflix. We want technology to transform us into a telepathics, and give us immortality. What if we already had nanotech-biotech breakthrough technology like smartdust, nanobots that were so small they could pass right through the lungs and into the blood-brain barrier, giving you enhance mood through those neurons, even extend life, and allow a fusing of your world via wireless brain-computer links to the world around you.

Just look what we are able to do with stem cells today.

(Sciencedaily) “There is no doubt that stem cells can be used to counter the aging process of cardiac cells caused by telomere degradation,” Mohsin said.
The technique increased telomere length and activity, as well as increasing cardiac stem cell proliferation, all vital steps in combating heart failure.
While human cells were used, the research was limited to the laboratory. Researchers have tested the technique in mice and pigs and found that telomere lengthening leads to new heart tissue growth in just four weeks.
“Modifying aged human cardiac cells from elderly patients adds to the cell’s ability to regenerate damaged heart muscle, making stem cell engineering a viable option,” Mohsin said. “This is an especially exciting finding for heart failure patients. Right now we can only offer medication, heart transplantation or stem cell therapies with modest regenerative potential, but PIM-1 modification offers a significant advance for clinical treatment.”

I am talking about a technology in the future that would be impossible to say no to if you did not know the prophecies of the bible.

Dan 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

By the year 2019, Kurzweil tells us that wearable smartphones will be a big hit, and by 2029, your computers and cellphones will no longer be on the outside but rather, on your inside, implanted in eyes and ears, and anyone who has not merged with machine will be considered “the human underclass,” who will be seen as living there lives in reverse, a nonproductive people who refuse to adapt to the singularity, or what the bible calls the beast.

It’s the ultimate slap in the face to the creator of the universe, essentially telling him he didn’t do a good enough job at making us, and his plan for our lives is obsolete. We are always looking to live forever without God, but he is the one that gave us life in the first place. Many years ago in a perfect, cultivated, greenhouse garden environment, God implanted man into the closest thing to paradise on this side of glory called Eden. And what did we give it all up for? We cast it all off for the pursuit of knowledge to be like Gods ourselves. When all at the same time the means of eternal life was at our fingertips in that perfect environment the creator made for us.

Today we have no such perfect world to live in. However, there is still a way for you to live forever. In the words of the greatest mind that ever walked in shoe leather, Jesus, “you must be born again.” To be reborn is a spiritual transformation where God himself downloads into us a part of himself.

Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. To us who have the spirit of God downloaded death is no ending, but merely a new beginning to a whole new universe unexplored by the human mind or human intellect. A new Eden created for those that love him.

“Even among those human intelligences still using carbon-based neurons, there is ubiquitous use of neural implant technology, which provides enormous augmentation of human perceptual and cognitive abilities. Humans who do not utilize such implants are unable to meaningfully participate in dialogues with those who do,” writes Kurzweil.

I know its hard for you to imagine that the handheld computer you use everyday will be the size of a blood cell 25 years from now, but it will be, if we don’t annihilate ourselves with the two edge sword of technology. Humans who refuse changing themselves into man-machine will be ostracized from society, but at least they won’t lose their soul and be rejected by the creator of all things good after this carbon base life form has run its course. I’ll still take man and God for the win, man and machine does not compute in my book.

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
