Louisiana was the first state but they are certainly not the last one to petition to leave the Divided States of America, peacefully. The numbers have now climbed to 15 states asking to leave, and I would assume more are on the way. People are tired of the way this country is gone, and many believe there voice is no longer heard. The proof? Over twenty million people without jobs. Votes not being counted but a winner given anyway. People like Ron Paul who’s votes were taken to a secret location to be counted.
The Texas petition reads as follows:
“The US continues to suffer economic difficulties stemming from the federal government’s neglect to reform domestic and foreign spending. The citizens of the US suffer from blatant abuses of their rights such as the NDAA, the TSA, etc. Given that the state of Texas maintains a balanced budget and is the 15th largest economy in the world, it is practically feasible for Texas to withdraw from the union, and to do so would protect it’s citizens’ standard of living and re-secure their rights and liberties in accordance with the original ideas and beliefs of our founding fathers which are no longer being reflected by the federal government.”
Looks like brother against brother war could rise again. Looks like they are going to get the petitions they want. Government today is to big and strong to allow them to use their constitutional right to withdrawal from the United States peacefully, IMO.
The nation of the United States of America has never been more divided since the days of Abraham Lincoln. According to the huffington post, 61,173,739 for Obama to 58,167,260 for Romney.
Will this take flight? Even if this does somehow make it to the presidents desk, I would bet it wouldn’t be long before these states are threatened with Marshall Law. Could this be why the DHS bought about 1.6 billion rounds of ammo, not for a threat without, but to fight a civil war within? A civil war could destroy this country by allowing our enemies to swoop in and take us over in a weakened state. For those of you who follow bible prophecy it would explain why the eagles wings are not on the Lion in Revelation 13. Only time will tell if brother will rise up against brother once again.
